I can’t say this is mine, but I can say that I am STOKED to try this recipe for salted whiskey caramels. Jack was the first whiskey I knew, as my Dad is a fan of Jack ‘n 7(Up), or Jack ‘n Ginger.
In fact, a girlfriend and I have been discussing hosting a whiskey/bourbon/cigar party for quite some time, and this recipe might just be the tipping point we need.
I’m already ageing and sampling by own Arkansas Lightning whiskey. Two months in, it tastes like…fire, with hints of vanilla. I understand part of the allure is the novelty factor, but I still have high hopes.
